The stations (S1 to Sn) are connected in series by a ring (A), and the invention device comprises a back-up ring (AS) connecting the stations in series, and in each station coupler (CS) two self-cicatrization circuits (CAM, CAV) located between the two connectors (8, 9) of the coupler and its insert relay (RI). The couplers are connected by cords (10; 11), each comprising the ring (A), the back-up ring (AS) and two detector links (12, 13). Each self-cicatrization circuit includes one relay (6) and its control circuit (7) connected to a detector link whose other end is connected to the ground of another self-cicatrization circuit. Each relay (6) has several fixed contacts (a1, a2, b1, b2), one mobile contact (C1) connected to the insert relay (RI) and another mobile contact (C2); the second mobile contacts (C2) of the two self-cicatrization circuits (CAM, CAV) of a coupler are connected to one another via a back-up link (L). In each self-cicatrization circuit the mobile contacts operate in conjunction with the fixed contacts to connect, in the rest position, the insert relay (RI) to the ring (A) and the back-up link (L) to the back-up ring (AS), and in the operating position the insert relay (RI) to the back-up link (L).

Chaque circuit d'autocicatrisation comprend un relais (6) et son circuit de commande (7) relié à une liaison de détection ayant son autre extrémité relié à la masse d'un autre circuit d'autocicatrisation. Chaque relais (6) comporte des contacts fixes (a1, a2, b1, b2), un premier contact mobile (C1) relié au relais d'insertion (RI) et un deuxième contact mobile (C2) ; les deuxièmes contacts mobiles (C2) des deux circuits d'autocicatrisation (CAM, CAV) d'un coupleur sont reliés entre eux par une liaison de secours (L). Dans chaque circuit d'autocicatrisation les contacts mobiles coopèrent avec les contacts fixes pour relier, en position repos, le relais d'insertion (RI) à l'anneau (A) et la liaison de secours (L) à l'anneau de secours (AS), et en position travail le relais d'insertion (RI) à la liaison de secours (L).
