En effet, la lumière permet de faire briller les diamants et les pierres précieuses et rend les bijoux plus éblouissants et plus jolis. D'ailleurs, c'est pour cela que les concepteurs prévoient une ou plusieurs ouvertures du côté inférieur des bijoux afin d'y faire passer la lumière à travers (figure I).
