Existing sewer manhole frames cannot adapt properly to height fluctuations in the pavement because they rest directly on the underlying manhole. Thus they are not affected, like the pavement, by compaction of the road base and by temperature differences. This invention, a self-levelling frame, is supported by the road base, like the pavement, so that it can behave like the pavement, thus automatically and naturally keeping itself constantly at the same level as the pavement.

Les cadres existants pour regard d'égouts ne peuvent suivre adéquatement les fluctuations d'élévation du pavage car ils reposent directement sur le regard sousjacent. Ils ne sont alors pas affectés, tout comme le pavage, par la compaction de la fondation de la rue et par les différences de température. La présente invention, le cadre auto-nivelant, est supporté tout comme le pavage par la fondation de la rue, ce qui lui permet de se comporter comme le pavage, donc de se maintenir constamment au même niveau que celui-ci et ce, de façon automatique et naturelle.
