A polygonal frame self-locking bicycle includes a head tube (13) mounting a wheel containing front fork (14), a down tube (16) rigidly connected between the head tube and a pedal crank housing (17), a seat tube (18) mounting a rear fork (19) and wheel (20) and rigidly connected to the crank housing and a top tube (12) locking with and demountable from at least one of the head and seat tubes. Preferably, a top tube end is key locked to the seat tube and the other end affixed to a clamping cylinder (22) around the head tube. Loosening of the clamping cylinder permits pivoting and unlocked top tube to open a space between the seat and head tubes. The demounted top tube forms a frame opening that can be leaned past a vertical pole (30) and the top tube remounted and relocked locking the frame about the pole.
Bicyclette à autoverrouillage à cadre polygonal comportant un tube de fourche (13) sur lequel est montée une fourche avant (14) encadrant une roue, un tube oblique (16) formant une liaison rigide entre le tube de fourche et un logement (17) pour manivelle de pédalier, un tube de selle (18) monté sur une fourche arrière (19) et une roue (20) et relié rigidement au logement de la manivelle, ainsi qu'un tube supérieur (12) qui se verrouille avec au moins l'un ou l'autre des tubes de fourche et de selle, dont il peut être démonté. De préférence, une extrémité du tube supérieur est fixée en position verrouillée au tube de selle tandis que l'autre extrémité est fixée à un cylindre de serrage (22) placé autour du tube de fourche. En desserrant ce cylindre de serrage, on peut faire pivoter le tube supérieur non verrouillé pour ménager un espace entre les tubes de selle et de fourche. Le tube supérieur démonté forme une ouverture dans le cadre qui peut être appuyée contre un poteau vertical (30), le tube supérieur pouvant être remonté et reverrouillé, ce qui referme le cadre autour du poteau.
