A self-locking safety pin comprising a tubular body which extends in circular fashion in a plane between opposed, spaced ends, the ends disposed to form a gap in the circular body, and an elongated curved tongue slidably mounted to extend, under bias, between a closed position extending across the gap from one end of the body into the other, and an open position in which the tongue is withdrawn into said one end of the body. The free end of the tongue is tapered to a fabric-piercing point. An actuator, by which the tongue may be moved to open position, extends from the tongue through an elongated slot on the body to the exterior surface of the body. An anchor is also positioned on the exterior surface of the body, spaced from the actuator. The actuator, anchor and slot are located on the side surface of the body, opposite from the gap.
Épingle de sûreté à autoverrouillage comprenant un corps tubulaire qui s'étend de façon circulaire dans un plan entre des bouts opposés espacés, les bouts du corps circulaire étant placés de manière à laisser un intervalle entre eux, et une languette allongée et recourbée montée de façon à pouvoir glisser et s'étendre, quand elle est poussée, entre une position fermée s'étendant en travers de l'intervalle, d'un premier bout du corps dans l'autre, et une position ouverte dans laquelle la languette est rentrée dans ledit premier bout du corps. Le bout libre de la languette est suffisamment pointu pour percer un tissu. Un actionneur, qui permet de mettre la languette en position ouverte, s'étend à partir de la languette à travers une fente allongée, sur le corps, jusqu'à la surface extérieure du corps. Un ancrage se trouve également sur la surface extérieure du corps, à distance de l'actionneur. L'actionneur, l'ancrage et la fente sont situés sur la surface du corps qui se trouve du côté opposé à l'intervalle.
