A sensor apparatus (2) for a power bus (4) including a current and a temperature includes a housing (6) and one or more sensors (44, 114, 118). Each of the sensors is adapted to sense one of the current or the temperature of the power bus. A radio transceiver circuit (50, 110) is adapted to transmit a first wireless signal (130) and to receive a second wireless signal. A processor (88, 122) is adapted to input the sensed current and the sensed temperature from the sensors and to output corresponding signals to the radio transceiver circuit in order to transmit the first wireless signal. A power supply (24) is adapted to employ voltage produced by magnetically coupling the power bus to one or more coils, in order to power the sensors, the radio transceiver circuit and the processor from flux arising from current flowing in the power bus.

Cette invention concerne un appareil à capteur (2) pour un bus de puissance (4) présentant un courant et une température, lequel appareil comprend un logement (6) et un ou plusieurs capteurs (44, 114, 118). Chacun des capteurs est conçu pour capter le courant ou la température du bus de puissance. Un circuit émetteur-récepteur radio (50, 110) est conçu pour envoyer un premier signal sans fil (130) et pour recevoir un second signal sans fil. Un processeur (88, 122) est conçu pour entrer le courant et la température captés par les capteurs et pour émettre les signaux correspondants à l'attention du circuit émetteur-récepteur radio afin de transmettre le premier signal sans fil. Une unité d'alimentation (24) est conçue pour utiliser la tension produite par le couplage magnétique du bus de puissance à une ou plusieurs bobines, afin que les capteurs, le circuit émetteur-récepteur radio et le processeur soient alimentés à partir d'un flux généré par le courant circulant dans le bus de puissance.
