ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed herein is an aerating device comprising a chassis adapted for movement over the ground, handle means attached to the chassis for guiding the movement, aerating means carried by the chassis for penetrating the ground, and power means for operating the aerating means. The device further includes ballast means having weight and ballast adjusting means for varying the weight of the ballast means.
