The invention relates to a self-propelled system for transporting persons by cable, intended for aerial panoramic environmental observation, consisting of: a cable route suspended above the ground, which is supported and tautened by means of brackets that are secured to natural or artificial elements on the ground. According to the invention, the vehicle is propelled along the cable by the user's feet, such that the user can move safely and comfortably in order to observe the environment without having to stop at the cable anchoring points. The user has complete control over the speed of the vehicle and can accelerate, brake and stop the vehicle at will, the user's hands remaining free at all times. The system can be installed and used on any type of terrain for recreational and/or scientific observation.
L'invention concerne un système à autopropulsion de transport par câble de personnes utilisé pour l'observation panoramique de l'environnement. Ledit système est formé d'un câble suspendu sur le terrain, soutenu et tendu au moyen de supports fixés aux éléments naturels ou artificiels disponibles sur le terrain, et le long du câble se déplacent des véhicules propulsés par les pieds de l'utilisateur, permettant à celui-ci de se déplacer de manière sûre et confortable pour observer l'environnement sans devoir s'arrêter au niveau des points d'ancrage du câble. L'utilisateur contrôle totalement la vitesse du véhicule et peut accélérer, freiner et s'arrêter à volonté, gardant à tout moment les mains libres. Ce système peut être installé et utilisé sur n'importe quel type de terrain à des fins d'observation récréative et/ou scientifique.
