A self-regulating tilting weir comprises a tiltable weir gate over which the water flows, the weir gate being hinged at its lower edge (3) to the base of a support frame (1) and counterbalanced by float means (4) located upstream of the weir gate so that the level of water is raised in response to a fall in the water level upstream of the weir gate and is lowered in response to an increase in the water level upstream of the weir gate, the weir gate being connected to the float means (4) by chains or cables (5) which pass over pulley wheels (6), and means (7, 8) being provided for effecting vertical movement of the pulley wheels (6) relative to the support frame (1). A self- regulating fishway (Figures 9 to 11) is provided alongside the weir.

L'invention se rapporte à un déversoir basculant autorégulateur comportant une grille ouvrante à bascule sur laquelle passe l'eau. La grille du déversoir est articulée au niveau de son extrémité inférieure (3) à la base d'un châssis de support (1) et elle est équilibrée par un organe flotteur (4) situé en amont par rapport à elle de sorte que le niveau de l'eau monte lorsque le niveau de l'eau chute en amont de ladite grille et qu'il descend lorsque le niveau de l'eau augmente en amont de ladite grille. Cette grille du déversoir est reliée à l'organe flotteur (4) par des chaînes ou des câbles (5) qui passent sur des réas (6) et un organe (7, 8) permet de soumettre les réas (6) à un mouvement vertical par rapport au châssis de support (1). L'invention se rapporte également à une passe à poissons (Fig. 9 à 11).
