Self-righting inflatable liferaft (1) comprising an outer edge (2) made up of at least one inflatable flotation surrounding a reinforced bottom (3) attached in a watertight manner to the said flotation, at least one inflatable tubular arch (4) extending above the raft between two opposite sides of the inflatable flotation (2), although plans call for at least two arches (4) installed more or less in parallel; each arch (4) is equipped with a gas holder (8) mounted to the outside surface of the arch (4) at a point in the arch located at an angle (.alpha) of approximately 30 to 60 degrees above horizontal, the combination of the arch (4) and the gas holder (8) being asymmetrical in relation to the vertical central plane (5) of the raft. A heavy mass (6, 7) is secured to the edge of the raft on the same side as the said gas holders (8).

Radeau de sauvetage gonflable (1), autoredressable, comportant un bord périphérique (2) constitué par au moins un boudin gonflable entourant un fond (3) solidarisé de façon étanche audit boudin, au moins un arceau tubulaire gonflable (4) s'étendant au-dessus du radeau entre deux côtés opposés du boudin gonflable (2), il est prévu au moins deux arceaux (4) sensiblement parallèles ; chaque arceau (4) est équipé d'une réserve de gaz (8) en saillie sur le côté externe de l'arceau (4) et dans une zone de celui-ci située sous un angle (.alpha.) d'approximativement 30 à 60° au-dessus de l'horizontale, l'ensemble constitué par l'arceau (4) et la réserve (8) étant asymétrique par rapport au plan vertical médian (5) du radeau ; et une masse pesante (6, 7) est solidarisée au radeau le long du bord de celui-ci situé du côté des susdites réserves (8).
