ABSTRACT An article of manufacture for fastening a first fastenable member to a second at an isolated portion of the first is described. A first fastener member is of an elongated, generally U-shaped configuration and has first and second prongs. The prongs are integrated together at respec- tive first curved ends to form a rearward portion of the U-shaped configuration and are perforated at respective second free ends forward of the rearward portion. This arrangement permits operative engagement of a second fastener member to means to secure the second fastener member carried by the first fastener member. A sealing member is carried by the first prong and has a flap portion. The flap portion com- prises a flap extending rearward a substantial distance of the rearward portion and has a width dimension, measured in a direction perpendicular to the long axis of the first fastener member, that exceeds a so-measured width dimension of the second prong.
