Abstract of the Disclosure SELF-SEALING PLATE OR GRIPPER ASSEMBLY FOR SINGLE PLY ROOFING A self contained sealing assembly for an elastomeric single ply roof comprising a metal or hard plastic pressure member 10, said member having a position to receive an elongated fastening member 8 having a penetrating point and a forcing head and having sealant 11 along bottom side of said pressure member and on top side around the position to receive said elongated fastening member. Screws and large flat headed nails 8 are preferred as the elongated fastner member.
