A pneumatic tire of which self-seal function can be improved while the increase in weight of the tire is minimized. The pneumatic tire contains a rubber component decomposed by peroxide and 0.2 to 20 parts by weight of peroxide per 100 parts by weight of the rubber component. An adhesive sealant layer constituted from a rubber composition where fibrillated short fibers with an average length of 100 to 5000 µm are mixed and scattered are arranged in the region corresponding to at least a tread portion at the inner side of the tire.

L'invention concerne un pneumatique dont la fonction d'auto-obturation peut être améliorée avec une augmentation minimale de son poids. Le pneumatique présenté contient un composant du type gomme avec 0,2 à 20 parties en poids de peroxyde pour 100 parties en poids de ce composant du type gomme. Une couche d'obturation adhésive constituée d'une composition de gomme dans laquelle des fibres courtes fibrillaires d'une longueur moyenne de 100 à 5 000 µm sont mélangées et dispersées est placée dans la zone correspondant à au moins la partie bande de roulement, sur la face intérieure du pneumatique.
