A toothbrush (20) with a bristled head (24) and a handle (22) that includes a pivotable stand (28). The stand (28) is movable between a collapsed position where an interior surface (28b) of the stand (28) is proximate an outer wall (22a) of the handle (22), and an extended position where the stand (28) extends outwardly away from the outer wall (22a) and at an angle thereto. This movement is effected by contacting a small flange (36) or a lever (154) on the stand (28) that extends slightly outwardly from the handle (22). When in the extended position, the legs (32) of the stand (28) together with the end of the handle (22) may be placed in contact with a horizontal surface thereby causing the brush (20) to be oriented in a head-down position with the bristles (26) retained a distance above the surface so that they can drip- dry.
L'invention porte sur une brosse à dents (20) avec une tête à soies (24) et un manche (22) qui comprend un support pivotant (28). Le support (28) est mobile entre une position rétractée dans laquelle une surface intérieure (28b) du support (28) est proche d'une paroi externe (22a) du manche (22), et une position étendue dans laquelle le support (28) s'étend vers l'extérieur à l'opposé de la paroi externe (22a) et avec un certain angle par rapport à celle-ci.
