ABSTRACT A self-supporting terminal element for making a solder- less, screwless and strip- less contact A self-supporting terminal element (1) for making a solderless, screwless and stripless contact, especially for use in telecommunications engineering, is z-shaped and consists of a contact member (2) offset at an angle of about 45° from the conductor axis of a wire to be inserted as well as of two clamping members (3), mounting pins (4) being provided in the lower portion of the terminal element (1); thus, the terminal element (1) is stiffened and is adapted for use on extremely restricted space, e.g. on printed circuit boards (6). 125-x2125-THp
