A thermally-protective plant enclosure (10) includes a plurality of elongated hollow closure bodies (12) each having a pair of outer and inner transparent walls (16,18). Each outer and inner wall (16, 18) are peripherally interconnected by a base (16A, 18A) a top (16B, 18B) and a pair of opposite sides (16C, 16D. 18C, 18D). Each closure body (12) is closed along the opposite sides and base and is open at least through a portion of the top, defining an internal cavity (20) in the closure body (12) capable of receiving and holding a quantity of fluid therein. The closure bodies (12) are positioned in side- by-side relation and are coupled one closure body (12) to the next along the opposite side thereof so as to form the plant enclosure (10) in an annular configuration.

Une serre de protection thermique (10) comporte une pluralité de corps d'enceinte creux (12) dotés chacun d'une paire de parois externe et interne (16, 18) transparentes reliées entre elles en leur périphérie par une base (16A, 18A), un dessus (16B, 18B) et une paire de côtés opposés (16C, 16D, 18C, 18D). Chaque corps d'enceinte (12) est fermé au niveau des côtés opposés et de la base et est ouvert au moins sur une partie du dessus, une cavité interne (20) pouvant recevoir et conserver un certain volume de liquide étant ainsi formée dans le corps d'enceinte (12). Les corps d'enceinte (12) sont placés côte à côte et sont accouplés les uns aux autres, le long des côtés opposés, de manière à former une serre (10) de forme annulaire.
