An automatic teeing device for positioning practice golf balls, for a driving range, including: a flexible, hollow tee (120), fabricated to sealingly engage a golf ball (110) seated thereon; a cylindrical tee holder (130), configured to sealingly mount the tee therein; a cylinder (140) sealingly surrounding the tee holder, allowing it and the tee to move vertically between raised and lowered positions therewith; a cover (150) and housing enclosing the cylinder having an air inlet introducing positive air pressure therein so the housing, cover, cylinder, tee holder, and tee together form an air-tight manifold when a golf ball is seated on the tee; and air pressure regulating apparatus ensuring that the air pressure introduced therein is within a desired range; wherein the tee, tee holder, cylinder, cover, housing, and air pressure regulating apparatus provide a force sufficient to raise the tee holder and tee with a golf ball seated thereon.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de té automatique permettant de positionner des balles de golf d'exercice, pour terrain d'exercice. Ledit dispositif comprend un té flexible, creux fabriqué pour rentrer en contact avec une balle de golf posée sur ledit té, un support de té cylindrique conçu pour le montage du té, un cylindre entourant ledit support qui permet au té et audit support de se déplacer verticalement entre des positions élevée et abaissée, un couvercle et un logement enveloppant le cylindre doté d'une entrée d'air introduisant une pression d'air positive, de telle manière que le logement, le couvercle, le cylindre, le support de té et le té forment un manifold hermétique, lorsqu'une balle de golf est posée sur le té, et enfin, un appareil de régulation de la pression d'air garantissant que la pression d'air introduite se situe au sein d'une fourchette souhaitée. Le té, le support de té, le cylindre, le couvercle, le logement et l'appareil de régulation de la pression d'air sont conçus en présence d'une source de pression d'air positive à l'intérieur de la fourchette souhaitée, afin d'engendrer une force suffisante pour soulever ledit support et le té, une balle de golf étant alors posée sur le té, à la position élevée, sans faire tomber ladite balle de golf du té. Sans balle de golf sur le té, la force n'est pas suffisante pour soulever le support de té et le té au-dessus de la position abaissée.
