A method and apparatus for providing a beneficial simulation for a human participant which has the participant floating in a pool of liquid and having a sequence of fine water droplets with essential oil directed into an atmosphere above the participant with a matching colour of light and sound and then being removed from the atmosphere and replaced with a further atmosphere with fine water droplets and a different essential oil and matching colour and sound.
