In order to effectively separate longitudinally extended solid material parts (18), especially short wire pieces, and to continually operate a separating device (1), the invention provides that said separating device comprises an oscillating base (2) having longitudinal grooves (12) whose depth diminishes in the direction (6) of conveyance. Longitudinally extended, e.g. v-shaped screen openings (10) are connected to the longitudinal grooves (12) in order to separate the longitudinally extended solid material parts (18). Flat solid material parts (18) can slide over the screen openings (10). The separating device (1) is especially suited for separating small wire parts contained in pyrolysis remaining material of a pyrolysis installation.

L'objectif de l'invention est d'obtenir une séparation efficace de corps solides (18) de forme allongée, en particulier de courts morceaux de fil métallique, ainsi que le fonctionnement continu d'un dispositif de séparation (1). A cet effet, ce dispositif présente un fond oscillant (2) pourvu de gorges longitudinales (12) dont la profondeur décroît dans le sens de transport (6). Auxdites gorges longitudinales (12) sont raccordées des ouvertures de criblage (10) allongées, par exemple en forme de V, qui servent à la séparation des corps solides (18) de forme allongée. Des corps solides (18) plats peuvent, en glissant, aller au-delà des ouvertures de criblage (10). Ce dispositif de séparation (1) convient particulièrement pour la séparation de petits morceaux de fil métallique contenus dans la matière résiduelle de pyrolyse d'une installation de pyrolyse.
