Disclosed is a separating chip for separating an insoluble component from a suspension by using a rotating centrifugal force. The separating chip comprises a suspension holding bath, a separated liquid holding bath and an insoluble component holding bath, which are arranged sequentially in the recited order from the inner circumference side at the rotating time. The separating chip is constituted such that the suspension holding bath and the insoluble component holding bath are connected, such that the insoluble component holding bath and the separated liquid holding bath are connected by a narrow portion, and such that the portion of the insoluble component holding bath, as connected to the suspension holding bath, is positioned closer to the outer circumference side than the narrow portion.
