SEPARATION OF ALUMINUM ALKYLS FROM OLEFINS USING POLYPHENYLENE OXIDE MEMBRANE Abstract of the Disclosure A process for separating a mixture of aluminum alkyl and alpha-olefin comprises contacting, under an elevated pressure of at least 300 psig, an organic solvent stable, polyphenylene oxide-derived membrane with said mixture and recovering as the permeate an alpha-olefin fraction which contains a lower concentration of aluminum alkyl than in the starting mixture.
