The present invention relates to a method of separating betaine and at least one other component from a sugar beet based fermentation solution. The invention is based on the use of a combination of SAC resins and WAC resins in a specific order and in specified proportions in a chromatographic SMB separation system. The chromatographic separation system is preferably a single integrated SMB system comprising both SAC and WAC resin beds.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de séparation de la bétaïne et d'au moins un autre composant à partir d'une solution de fermentation à base de betterave à sucre. On utilise à cet effet une combinaison de résines SAC et de résines WAC selon un ordre précis et des proportions déterminées dans un système de séparation par chromatographie à lit mobile simulé (SMB). Ce système de séparation est constitué, de préférence, d'un système SMB unique intégré comprenant une combinaison de lits de résines SAC et WAC.
