A SEPARATOR FOR SEPARATING TWO MIXED LIQUIDS HAVING A DIFFERENT SPECIFIC WEIGHT. ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE. A separator for separating two mixed liquids having each a different specific weight, e.g.. water that is contami- nated with oil. Said separator comprises a rotatable casing having a coaxial opening at each axial end, said coaxial opening having a larger radius than said other opening. A transversal wall in said casing, said transversal wall with its periphery at a radius that is larger than the largest opening radius limiting a peripheral axial flow connection along the inner wall of said casing between said two coaxial openings. An axial inlet for liquid mixture opens in said casing on the side of said transversal wall where said coaxial opening with a smaller radius is situated.
