ABSTRACT A distribution box for ensuring even flow from a septic tank to a tile bed is disclosed. A moulded plastic distribution box is provided, having a body with a top, a bottom, an inlet end and three other sides. The top preferably has an opening, for which a separate lid is provided. An inlet opening is provided through the inlet end, and a plurality of outlet openings are on the other sides thereof. The inlet opening has a first inset portion of one diameter, stepping to a second inset portion of lesser diameter, so that different diameter inlet pipes may be accommodated. For added strength, the sides adjacent the inlet end have central outwardly- projecting generally rectangular box-like portions. Elsewhere, the top is joined to the inlet end and the other three sides by angled surfaces.
