The invention concerns a method for isolating Rickettsia pulicis bacterium on clawed frog cells or any other cell at a culture temperature of 28·. The bacterium is used for a serological diagnostic method which consists in contacting the bacterium responsible for said disease with the patient's serum or biological fluid. The invention also concerns a device for implementing said method for in vitro detection of the bacterium in fleas or human samples.

L'invention concerne une méthode pour l'isolement de la bactérie Rickettsia pulicis sur cellules de xenope ou tout autre cellule à la température de culture de 28~. La bactérie est utilisée pour une méthode de diagnostic sérologique dans laquelle on met en contact la bactérie responsable de ladite maladie avec le sérum ou le fluide biologique du patient. L'invention concerne également un dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre de cette méthode pour la détection in vitro de la bactérie dans les puces ou les prélèvements humains.
