The inventive electromagnetic lock provided with a sliding bolt for a swinging- type door is characterised in that the bolt (3) is supported by a movable plate (4) which forms the armature of an electric magnet arranged in the lock body (1). Said plate is displaceable by the action of two forces acting in the same direction in such a way that the bolt is protruded. The displacement of the plate (4) forming said armature is carried out in a direction which is the usual displacement direction of the bolt.

Serrure électromagnétique à pêne escamotable pour porte battante, caractérisée en ce que le pêne (3) est porté par une plaque (4), mobile, formant l'armature d'un électroaimant logé dans le corps (1) de la serrure, ladite plaque pouvant être déplacée, pour faire saillir le pêne, sous l'action de deux forces agissant dans le même sens. Le déplacement de la plaque (4), formant armature, s'effectue selon une direction qui est celle usuelle de déplacement du pêne.
