ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The temperature stability of a servoed accelerometer having a proof mass, a detector means for measuring the deflection of the proof mass, and a restoring means including a coil cooperating with a permanent magnet to restore the proof mass to a null position, is significantly improved by utilizing permanent magnets composed of a material including the elements cobalt, gadolinium and samarium.
