ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Disclosed herein is a sesquilignan derivative of the formula: Image wherein R1 is hydrogen or hydroxy, R2 is hydrogen or acetyl, R3 is hydrogen or methoxy, R4 is hydrogen or methoxy, n is integer of 0 or 1, with the proviso that when R1 and R2 is hydrogen, R3 is methoxy and R4 is hydrogen; these compounds possess pesticidal properties.
