A B S T R A C T Settable composition comprising aluminum phosphate, solid organic carboxylic acid, water, and material containing an alkaline earth metal and an oxide, and being obtained by providing an admixture of the above constituents whereby the solid organic carboxylic acid and alkaline earth material are not precontacted with each other prior to contact of the material containing an alkaline earth material with the aluminum phos- phate, and process for preparing same are provided.
