-21- "SETTING AND CONTROLLING ATTACHMENT FOR TUBE BENDING MACHINES" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A control system for tube bending machines which include front and rear pipe bending shoes, includes an electronic control assembly having means to dial or preset the angle to be bent and digital readout showing the angle actually bent by the machine together with a jog switch for incrementally increasing the angle the tube is bent. Two modes of operation are provided 9 namely automatic or manual and each mode can be operated in a "hold" or "return" sequence by means of selector switches.
