There is disclosed a settlement system in which predetermined image data is transmitted beforehand to a purchaser client (1, 2, ...N) as a substitute for a commodity ticket, a coupon ticket or cash, and the client transmits the image data to a virtual shop when purchasing a commodity in the virtual shop opened on Internet, and can settle commodity purchase on the Internet (10), so that the client can use the image data to buy the arbitrary commodity on the Internet. Moreover, a server apparatus (21) for transmitting the image data to the purchaser client is provided with a program for verifying and settling whether or not the same image data as the image data transmitted to the client has been received, so that the image data can be prevented from being mistaken or abused.

L'invention porte sur un système de règlement dans lequel des images numériques prédéterminées sont transmises à l'avance à un client acheteur (1, 2, ... N) en remplacement d'un ticket d'article, d'un ticket de coupon ou d'espèces, le client transmettant ensuite l'image numérique à un magasin virtuel lors de l'achat d'un article dans le magasin virtuel ouvert sur Internet, et réglant son achat sur Internet (10). Ce système permet au client d'utiliser l'image numérique pour acheter l'article arbitraire sur Internet. De plus, un serveur (21) destiné à transmettre l'image numérique au client acheteur est pourvu d'un programme permettant de vérifier et déterminer que c'est bien la même image transmise au client qui a été reçue, ce qui permet d'éviter l'utilisation par erreur ou de manière abusive de cette image.
