ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus for use in automatically sewing articles along a symmetrical, open-ended path. The articles can be sewn from either end of the path. The apparatus employs a cam means which corresponds to the open-ended path and control means, including a selector valve for automatically driving the cam means in either direction.
