The invention relates to a shaft cover (1) having openings (2) through which a fluid medium is able to pass. Each of these openings (2) is fitted with at least one filter element (3) and the space left between the outer surface of the filter element (3) and the inner wall of the opening (2) is filled with an elastic material (4).
