A shaft member capable of minimizing the occurrence of noise by positively attenuating vibration acting on the metal shaft member having spline grooves and spiral grooves axially formed therein, comprising a metal shaft body having a hollow part and a ceramics material functioning as a vibration absorber filled in the hollow part without clearance, wherein the ceramics material is filled in the hollow part of the shaft body in the state of powder, granular material, or fluid body and formed in a shape matching the hollow part in the hollow part.

L'invention concerne un arbre permettant de réduire la production de bruit par une atténuation positive des vibrations s'exerçant sur l'arbre métallique. Cet arbre présente des cannelures et des rainures hélicoïdales formées axialement dans ces dernières. L'arbre comprend un corps métallique présentant une partie creuse et un matériau céramique agissant comme absorbeur de vibrations, remplissant entièrement cette partie creuse. Ce matériau céramique est introduit dans la partie creuse de du corps de l'arbre sous forme de poudre, de grains ou de corps fluide et formé de manière venir s'adapter à l'intérieur de la partie creuse.
