ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A static antenna system using a monopole shaped to deliver and evenly distribute microwave energy in a desired pattern. The monopole is symmetrical with respect to its axis, and the cross sectional area taken in planes perpendicular to the axis is varied to control the shape and location of the radiated pattern. The resulting even energy distribution is accomplished without the need for moving parts of any kind.
