A method for storing data in an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) is disclosed. The method comprises: i) selecting a first user and a second user, which are not aliases; ii) analysing first and second data sets associated with the first and second users respectively to identify common data elements in each of the first and second data sets, the first and second datasets being useable by a first application server within the IMS to satisfy service requests on behalf of the first and second users; iii) creating a data structure containing a single instance of the identified common data elements; and iv) storing the data structure in a home subscriber server (HSS) within the IMS.

L'invention concerne un procédé de mémorisation de données dans un sous-système multimédia IP (IMS). Le procédé consiste à : i) sélectionner un premier utilisateur et un second utilisateur, qui ne sont pas des pseudonymes; ii) analyser des premier et second ensembles de données respectivement associés aux premier et second utilisateurs pour identifier des éléments de données communs dans chacun des premier et second ensembles de données, les premier et second ensembles de données pouvant être utilisés par un premier serveur d'application dans l'IMS pour satisfaire à des demandes de service au nom des premier et second utilisateurs; iii) créer une structure de données contenant une instance unique des éléments de données communs identifiés; et iv) mémoriser la structure de données dans un serveur d'abonnés nominaux (HSS) dans l'IMS.
