ABSTRACT: The invention relates to a shaving appa- ratus having a shear plate with hair-entrance aper- tures and a cutting unit which is rotatable relative to the shear plate. The cutting unit comprises a cut- ting member with cutters which are equipped with mo- vable lead cutters. In order to obtain a simple con- struction which is suitable for mass production, it is proposed to make the lead cutters engage with the associated cutters under pre-tension in the rest position.
