A cartridge-connecting subassembly for a shaving razor handle (12). The cartridge-connecting subassembly includes a cartridge connecting structure (26), a handle connecting structure (88), and a movable component (23, 86) within the cartridge connecting structure that interacts with a replaceable cartridge when it is connected. The cartridge connecting structure (26) releasably holds the replaceable cartridge (14). The cartridge connecting subassembly is substantially covered when the handle connecting structure (88) is connected to an elongated hand gripping structure (30) of said handle (12) and the cartridge connecting structure (26) is connected to a cartridge (14).
