A shaving razor (1) includes a cartridge (12) having a cartridge housing (20) and a handle (14). The cartridge housing (20) has a front edge and two side edges extending from the front edge to the rear edge. One or more shaving blades (28) are located on the housing and between the front edge and the rear edge. A connecting member (18) is connected to the cartridge housing and includes a deflectable element (162, 164) defining at least a portion of an opening (178) extending through the connecting member. The handle includes a handle interconnect member that includes a protrusion (166) having an enlarged distal end (180) and angled side surface (182, 184) extending from the distal end (180) to a base (186).
