A shaving system comprising a support, at least one blade and a skin-engaging element comprising a skin-engaging resilient foam material. In a preferred embodiment, the skin-engaging element is attached to a guard and comprises a resilient foam material and a shaving aid. Also, disclosed is a method for making a razor head having a skin-engaging resilient foam material.
