Said terminal can be coupled to an open housing (27) of the partition wall (60) by fixing a sheath extremity (26) of a control cable comprised of a sheathed steel cable (7). The terminal comprises a fixing body (1), a terminal body (6) and a retention body (3) which are coaxially couplable between each other, and means (27) for fixing to the open housing, said means comprising a stem (44), a spring (49) and a retainer pin (52) actuable by the user to two work positions: a first position wherein the stem (44) may slide in both directions into a fixing housing (34) and a second position wherein the stem (44) remains still once its free end (48) is in a fixing orifice (61) of the partition wall (60). Ladite borne peut être couplée à un emplacement ouvert (27) d'une paroi de division (60) par la fixation d'une extrémité de la gaine (26) d'un câble de commande formé d'un câble en acier (7) gainé.
