A sheet for preventing burning by spreading fire which comprises a water- absorptive polymer material layer being capable of absorbing sprayed water and has flexibility sufficient to change the form thereof corresponding to that of an object with which the polymer layer is in contact. When there is a danger of burning by spreading fire, this sheet can be used for cutting off an object from the fire and preventing the object from burning by rendering the water- absorptive polymer material layer contained therein to absorb an abundance of water and form a water-containing layer. A sheet and a cover for preventing burning by spreading fire, and a combined fire-extinguishing sheet and disaster-preventing clothing which comprises a surface side comprising a water- absorptive polymer material layer forming a water-containing layer, and, laminated therewith, a back side comprising a substrate having functions of fire resistance, heat resistance, insulation, waterproof, elasticity and protection are also provided. They exhibit an enhanced effect of preventing burning by spreading fire and can protect an object with improved reliability.
L'invention concerne une feuille ignifuge servant à empêcher la propagation du feu, comprenant une couche de matériau polymère absorbant l'eau, pouvant absorber de l'eau pulvérisée, et dont la souplesse est suffisante pour modifier sa forme selon celle d'un objet avec lequel cette couche polymère est en contact. Lorsqu'il y a un danger de brûlure par propagation du feu, on peut utiliser cette feuille pour couper un objet du feu et l'empêcher de brûler, en amenant la couche de matériau polymère absorbant l'eau à absorber une quantité importante d'eau, et à former une couche contenant de l'eau. L'invention concerne également une feuille et une couverture ignifuges servant à empêcher la propagation du feu, et une feuille ignifuge et un vêtement anti-brûlure combinés, comprenant un côté surface d'une couche de matériau polymère absorbant l'eau, formant une couche stratifiée contenant de l'eau, un côté inférieur, comprenant un substrat possédant des fonctions de résistance au feu, de résistance à l'eau, d'isolation, d'imperméabilité, d'élasticité et de protection. Ils possèdent également un effet ignifuge servant à empêcher la propagation du feu et peuvent protéger un objet avec une fiabilité améliorée.
