SHEET GROUP SEPARATING MECHANISM ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A mechanism for separating successive groups of sheets from a stack where the length of the sheets is relatively great in a direction transverse to a subsequent feeding direction. The mechanism comprises two slotted discs supporting the stack and rotatable synchronously, one of the discs being of substantially greater diameter than the other. This permits transversely long sheets to be handled without the necessity of constructing a much larger machine.
