A method of manufacturing a metal plate rocker arm, comprising the steps of forming a raw plate having a specified outline and through-holes by punching out and forming one sheet of metal material, forming a pair of side wall parts generally parallel with each other and a connection part for connecting the lateral one end edges of these both side wall parts to each other by applying a bending operation to the raw plate by pressing, forming at least a pair of circular holes in these both side wall parts at the positions matching with each other, forming an engaging part in the state recessed more than the other part of the connection part on one surface of the connection part by deforming the middle part of the connection part in a thickness direction, allowing a swelling part of trapezoidal shape in cross section projected in bank shape according to the formation of the engaging part to be present on the other surface of the connection part, and allowing the center part lateral both end edges of the swelling part corresponding to the upper side of the trapezoidal shape to be present on the lateral more inner side than the lateral both end edges of the engaging part.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication de bras basculant à plaque métallique qui consiste à former une plaque brute à contour spécifique et pourvue de trous traversants en découpant et formant une plaque de métal, former une paire de parties de paroi latérale généralement parallèles entre elles et une partie de raccordement permettant de raccorder entre eux les bords terminaux latéraux de ces pièces en courbant par compression la plaque brute, former au moins une paire de trous circulaires dans ces parties de paroi latérale au niveau de points d'appariement, former une partie d'engagement plus évidée que l'autre partie de la pièce de raccordement sur une surface de la pièce de raccordement en déformant la partie médiane de la pièce de raccordement dans le sens de l'épaisseur, permettre, sur l'autre surface de la pièce de raccordement, la présence d'une partie renflée de forme trapézoïdale en section transversale faisant saillie sous forme inclinée selon la forme de la pièce d'engagement et permettre, sur le côté le plus intérieur des bords terminaux latéraux de la pièce d'engagement, la présence de bords terminaux latéraux de la partie centrale de la partie renflée correspondant au côté supérieur de forme trapézoïdale .
