Disclosed is a sheet-like forming material which enables to obtain a thin fuel cell separator having excellent conductivity and thickness accuracy. Also disclosed are a method for producing such a sheet-like forming material, and a separator for fuel cells obtained by shaping such a sheet-like forming material. Specifically disclosed is a sheet-like forming material for fuel cell separators which has a carbon particle layer on at least one side of a resin sheet. This sheet-like forming material is characterized in that the ratio of the carbon particles contained therein is 70-90% by weight.

L~invention décrit un matériau de formage de type feuille qui permet d~obtenir un séparateur mince de piles à combustible présentant une excellente conductivité et une excellente précision d~épaisseur. L~invention décrit également un procédé de fabrication d~un tel matériau et un séparateur pour des piles à combustible obtenu en mettant en forme un tel matériau de formage. L~invention décrit en particulier un tel matériau qui comporte une couche de particules de carbone sur au moins un côté d~une feuille de résine. Ledit matériau est caractérisé en ce que le taux des particules de carbone contenues dans celui-ci représente 70 à 90 % en poids.
