The sheet presenter (10) includes an elongated platform (20) adapted to be mounted at a printer. An arm (40) is pivotally mounted to a platform and has at least one drive roller thereon for advancing paper sheets seriatim received from the printer to a presentation position. A motor (52) disposed at the arm is operatively connected to the drive roller wherein the mass of the motor urges the end of the arm downwardly to engage a sheet received on the platform and to present it to the user at the presentation position. A sensor detects the presence of the sheets to activate the motor to drive the next sheet into the presentation position.
