ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A sheet type surface light emitting display device employing LED is provided. The sheet type surface light emitting display device employing LED includes a resin sheet having the spaced opposite surfaces and the inclined periphery, a plurality of light emitting diodes disposed within the resin sheet adjacent to one of the opposite surfaces, lead frames in plural pairs each pair of frames having the inner ends attached to the surface of the associated one diode opposite from the light emitting surface and the outer ends protruding out of the resin sheet other surface, reflective means on the other surface and inclined periphery of the resin sheet and a light diffusion sheet attached to the one surface of the resin sheet.
