A forming method for producing wall and ceiling cladding sheets from sheetmetal, wherein embossed patterns are pressed into a metal sheet so that they cover the entire surface area of the sheet substantially uniformly. In the method, the embossed pattern is formed from a numober of flute portions oriented at an angle to each other and an intersection of these, the intersection and all the flute portions extending from it to a distance from the intersection being produced in a single embossing operation. In addition, the metal sheet is clamped from opposite sides in an area outside the embossed pattern and held in place so that the embossed pattern is mainly produced as a result of the sheet being stretched in the area of the embossed partner, and the separately pressed embossed patterns are joined together in the areas of the flute portions.

L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication de feuilles de revêtement pour murs et plafonds à partir d'une tôle. On imprime des motifs gaufrés dans une feuille de métal de sorte que ceux-ci recouvrent la totalité de la surface de la feuille de manière sensiblement uniforme. Selon ce procédé, on forme le motif gaufré à partir d'un nombre de parties cannelées orientées selon un angle les unes par rapport aux autres et par rapport à une intersection. L'intersection et toutes les parties cannelées s'étendent jusqu'à une distance de l'intersection ainsi formée au cours d'une opération de gaufrage unique. De plus, la feuille de métal est serrée à partir des côtés opposés dans une zone à l'extérieur du motif gaufré et maintenue en place de sorte que le motif gaufré soit produit principalement sous la forme d'une feuille étirée dans la zone du motif gaufré. Les motifs gaufrés imprimés séparément sont réunis dans les zones des parties annelées.
