- 15 - SHELF ATTACHING SENSING DEVICE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A shelf mounted interactive advertising display attracts the attention of shoppers by the use of flashing light emitting diodes mounted around the perimeter of the display when motion is detected nearby. A quick release attachment mechanism allows the price channel mounted display on the shelf to be easily removed for battery recharging and relocation. The display does not protrude over the top of the shelf.
