An apparatus for dredging shellfish including a digging jet (22) connected to a source of pressurized water for liquifying and directing sediment and shellfish toward a digging blade (21) and separating device (25), the separating device (25) separates out sediment, shellfish and debris, and a suction chamber (32) collects shellfish that has passed the separating device (25) for conveyance to the surface. Between the separating device (25) and suction chamber (32) is a second separating device (29) for further separating shellfish from debris and clumps of sediment larger than a maximum dimension of the shellfish to be collected. The shellfish are conveyed to the surface by a Venturi tube (34) connected to the pressurized water source such that water from the pressurized water source is directed into the tube (34) away from the suction chamber (32) so as to siphon water from the suction chamber (32) to the surface.
Cette invention se rapporte à un appareil dragueur de crustacés et coquillages, qui utilise un jet de creusement (22) relié à une source d'eau sous pression pour liquéfier et diriger le sédiment et les crustacés et coquillages en direction d'une lame de creusement et d'un dispositif séparateur (25), lequel sépare les sédiments, les crustacés et coquillages et les débris, ainsi qu'une chambre d'aspiration (32) qui recueille les crustacés et coquillages qui ont passé par le dispositif séparateur (25), en vue de leur transport jusqu'à la surface.
